In 2017, we asked a representative sample of adult Americans about their Netflix usage. We then correlated that with other questions we asked, including their political leanings.
Here’s an interesting and surprising finding – Americans who identify as being either liberal in their politics or “middle of the road” types are more likely to subscribe to Netlfix than those who identify as being conservative.
We didn’t delve into why this is just yet (although it’s on our to-do list), although there are likely may be many good reasons that are lying just beneath the surface of our data.
